ION™ Wood Hardwood Flooring

Using selectively and sustainable harvested domestic and exotic species, ION Wood™ is made with an exceptionally durable and highly wear resistant finish that increases the compression resistance of the product to almost 3x that of White Oak, while also providing "health" benefits by using an Ionic coating that increases occupants blood flow when in contact with the flooring.

Sustainability Story

ION Wood™ is an extremely wear-resistant, engineered wood product line that is infused with a ‘far-infrared’ additive that increases occupant blood circulation, which in turn has health benefits to occupants in touch with the material.

The sustainable sourced wood face layers (available in both domestic and exotic species) is applied to the 7-ply Baltic Birch substrate (known for its’ stability) using low-VOC adhesives. The nano-ceramic urethane top-coating offers a wear-resistance of 6x time that of standard urethane (3x aluminum oxide), while increasing the impact resistance to that of a wood touting a much greater density (ie: example being – ION Wood - White Oak is over twice as impact resistant as standard White Oak), enabling the product to carry a Lifetime warranty.

  • Multi-layer UV finish 3x more scratch resistance of aluminum oxide coated material
