Our Strandwoven Wood line encompasses three main products: Aspen, MSB, and Timber. It can be best described as the re-engineering of densified and compressed fibrous wood material. Our goal is take weed species, post-industrial scraps, and economically-challenged woods, and use a bit of healthy technology to create unmatched aesthetics and superior-quality products.

Strandwoven Aspen™ - Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) in its dimensional form is re-sawn on its edge and then joined with similar pieces prior to being laminated onto a stable plywood core. The grain pattern reveals the parallel form of the fibers during compression, exposing a very linear look.

Strandwoven MSB™ – Fast-growing and non–fruit bearing Morus Alba trees are shredded into individual fiber strands (similar to peeling a carrot), and then compressed into a very dense composite material. The grain pattern is linear in nature, and has a greater variety in strand fiber width than with the Strandwoven Aspen.

Strandwoven Timber™ – post–industrial wood strand fibers and shavings are combined and compressed into a densified multi–species composite. The grain pattern tends to be the most varied and complex due to the different wood species used together during the compression. The orientation also tends to be lengthwise, running the length of the board.
